As part of its Summer Festival, the Lodi Historical Society is sponsoring the 16th Annual Art Show at the Lodi Historical Society Building on Route 414. The opening and reception will be Friday, July 2, from 6 to 8 pm. Works will be available for sale. This year for the first time the show is featuring photography. Artists and photographers may submit three to five pieces each. Please bring them to the LHS building between 5 and 7 pm on Wednesday, June 30. The art works will also be on view on Summer Festival Saturday, July 3, from 10 am to 4 pm. The Festival this year will feature a Craft Show and Sale on the lawn, as well as a Bake Sale, Book Sale, and Chicken BBQ to go with proceeds from these going to the Historical Society. Silent Auction  The Lodi Historical Society is putting some fun in its fundraising with a silent auction on Thursday, August 19. Join us from 5 to 7 pm in the tent at Dano’s Heuriger Viennese Restaurant for wine, nibblies, live music, and the chance to bid on many different auction items that have been donated to help us raise money.
tickets, art works and vacation packages.*  It’s a silent auction, so no loud auctioneer to ruin the atmosphere— just good wine from local vineyards and good food from Dano’s kitchen, plus you and your friends and a little amiable competition over who gets to take home the prizes.

The Finger Lakes Chamber Ensemble has their season opener at the LHS brick building on Sunday, September 26, at 4 pm. They will be joined by Nicolas DiEugenio on violin, and Diane Birr, on piano. The all-Czech program features MARTINU’s Madrigals for Violin and Viola, No. 1, JANÃCEK’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, HUSA’s, Eight Czech Duets for Piano 4-Hands and DVORÃK’s Piano Quartet in E-flat, Op. 87. Join us for a wonderful afternoon of music. Reception to follow.Â
